I have created this site in an attempt to share with fans not only my critical work, but also my academic work.

 

For those of you who do not yet know what they are getting into, let me share a little about myself.  My name is Sarah Bonilla. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and I am working towards a PhD in Film Studies through the University of Edinburgh. I previously lived in North Carolina where I earned my Masters Degree in Film Studies at North Carolina State University. I have a Bachelors Degree in English Literature and a minor in Philosophy.

 

I was married on February 20, 2004 (my seven year anniversary) to Ray Bonilla. The two of us have forged a new view on film criticism by creating a grading scale by which one can evaluate film as not only an artistic creation, but also a means of entertainment. This creation turned into a website and podcast called the Picture Show Pundits. Check out the links to the left to learn more.

 

Over the past several years I have developed some personal hobbies that accompany my love of film. I love photography and taking travel pictures. I also love writing in my travel blog about my numerous adventures and I have recently started posting recipes that I have "created."
